There are many innovations come into the surface of our civilization era for so many things, including the grill. For grilled and barbequed meat enthusiast like me, grill and smoker are some of the things that always come into my mind whenever I have a good chance to explore the market with latest barbeque and grill stuffs.
Frankly, I have one good transportable grill in the back of my full equipped van which giving me a good chance to have barbeque and grill whenever I want it. I heard something about infrared gas grill but frankly I haven’t got a chance to see this product directly, therefore I decided to give my self a time to discover this new item.
I read somewhere in few reference information that there’s actually one miss perception over non-charcoal or gas grill product. Infrared gas grill term seems to be included in this segment. Many people thought, my self too, that barbeque using convection rather than flame eliminates many essential elements of the barbeque experience.
In other words, the myth and perception where cooking with non-charcoal or gas grill do not produce flavor-filled smoke which is distinctive to an outdoor cooking flavor. Actually, after the more I read about this infrared gas grill, I found out that it is actually quite like the same with common gas grill. The only difference is perhaps the way the heat reaches the grill’s cooking surface. There’s common issue related with hot and cold spots we used to deal with common fire grills and this is not going to be an issue with infrared grill at all.
Infrared gas grill uses the same fuel source as a conventional gas grill. In infrared gas grill, the burners consist of stainless steel housing and ceramic top part which made this construction able to allow the heating element within the burner to be able to distribute the heat evenly across the grill and avoid such thing like cold and hot spots we used to find in conventional fire grill.
There are other things that made me understand as to why for a long term investment, infrared gas grill will significantly able to save and reduce the propane gas usage, because its simply short pre-heat and cooking times.
