For those who loves to cook, especially those kind of foods which using lots and lots of spices, surely knows how difficult to manage bottles and jars of spices in our small kitchen for an example. This has becomes a challenge that is greater when we have to pick one specific spice just in the middle of our cooking time of one food, the fire is flaming on our stove, and we can’t find/locate the right spice we’re looking for.
It happens to me, and it took me almost more than 10 minutes just to fine a bottle of rosemary leaves for my boiling spaghetti sauce and this made me sweat. At that, the only thing that I have in my mind was, I wish that I have spice drawer insert which can organize bottles and jars of spices that I have. My fellow cooking lovers have been suggesting me for several times, but I did not pay attention to what they said.
Spice drawer insert that my fellow cooking lovers been suggesting me is actually made out of some kind of wooden board which forms into some kind of rows which we can insert into our kitchen cabinet drawer and we can put and organize our bottles and jars of spices inside this cabinet’s drawer, so whenever we need any of them, our hands can easily find the right bottle of spice we want while our right hand is busy with our cooking on the stove.
I finally managed to get myself one spice drawer insert which just perfectly suit into the width of my kitchen cabinet drawer. With so many bottles and jars of spices that I have, I also purchase the right uniformed bottles which meant for spices and I put each of spice into each one of this bottle. Therefore, I have all my spices stored in each and individual uniformed bottles of spice and I put them in such an organized way.
This spice drawer insert, to me, is a simple thing which can make lots of difference for us to arrange our bottles of spices in our kitchen in such an organized way. What I did was, I put all those spices which I regularly use, such as salt, including raw sea salt, then many kind of peppers, including black and red pepper and a bottle of mixture of both black and red pepper on the first row.
Then I put all those spices made out of dried leaves such as oregano, thyme, rosemary, and other dried leaves on the second row. It does make my cooking time more fun ever since.
