Lots of my friend told me that I am a bit strange with my taste in many things, including furniture for my house. Somehow, I rather like more into vintage stuff, including vintage furniture. Rather than choosing modern or contemporary designed furniture, I choose vintage furniture for my self. When people asked me why I prefer vintage furniture, I do not have a definitive answer for that.
But somehow, unexplainable, vintage items always fascinates me a lot more better than contemporary nor modern style stuffs. Vintage items somehow remind me with the glory of the past. Values it brings into the future era like what we have today. This happened to almost all kind of furniture items in my house, including vintage coffee table.
To me, compared to any other common wooden made coffee table, I prefer to have a classic coffee table which would be able to entertain at least 4 persons at one time. There’s one that I particularly spend more during my overview look the other week. This table is round in shape and has quite unique top side of the vintage coffee table. The wooden plaques are arranged nicely to perform table top for which the sides are formed into round shape.
What I like most about this round vintage coffee table is the natural finish that brings up lots of natural beauty of wooden structures which attract me more, compare to modern designed coffee table.
Somehow, for one or another reason, I like rustic and western lifestyle for my house and stuffs, and this could be the reason why I like this vintage round coffee table, for which I am not suppose to reveal the brand name of this coffee table. What I like most about vintage coffee table is the “old” looks it has. It may looks like it has been aged for quite a long time, but in facts, it is just brand new made furniture.
Beside the round traditional coffee table, for which I thought I can find an ottoman underneath the table for an extra storage space, there is also another one which forced my eyes to look a bit more during that time.
It is a simple square shape vintage coffee table which somehow looks so natural just like a pile of stacking wooden plaques put together forming a coffee table shape. This is something that looks pretty old in my eyes, and it looks fantastic.
